Football Recap: Scintilla Charter Academy Takes a Loss

The Scintilla Charter Academy Spartans were beaten by the Southwest Georgia STEM Charter Aggies 56-6 on Friday.

Scintilla Charter Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Southwest Georgia STEM Charter, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Scintilla Charter Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pataula Charter Academy at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. As for Southwest Georgia STEM Charter, they will head out to take on Calvary Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Knights' defense has only allowed 6.8 points per game this season, so the Aggies' offense will have their work cut out for them.
