Football Recap: River Ridge Comes Up Short + How To Watch

While it was River Ridge who put the first points on the board on Friday, it was Heritage who put up more. The Hawks fell 20-14 to the Timberwolves. The Hawks were up 14-0 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Jayden Taylor threw for 54 yards. Ryzen Nunez was his top target, picking up 79 receiving yards and one touchdown.

River Ridge now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Heritage, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River Ridge will challenge Timberline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Hawks' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Heritage, they are taking a road trip to take on Kentlake at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
