Volleyball Recap: Halifax Academy Falls to Florida School for the Deaf & Blind in First Game of Season

Halifax Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Florida School for the Deaf & Blind Dragons on Thursday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

Halifax Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-8, 25-14.

Coming up, Halifax Academy will take on Calvary Christian Academy in a tournament on Friday. As for Florida School for the Deaf & Blind, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Crescent City at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
