Basketball Recap: Cherryville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Pinnacle Classical Academy last Tuesday, Cherryville came back down to earth. The Ironmen fell 70-63 to the West Lincoln Rebels on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Ironmen in their meetings with the Rebels: they've now lost four in a row.

Cherryville's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for West Lincoln, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Looking ahead, Cherryville will square off against Lincolnton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Lincoln, they will head out to face off against Patton at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday.
