Softball Game Preview: Kalida Wildcats vs. Jefferson Wildcats

We've got a battle between Wildcats coming up. Kalida has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with four straight defeats, while Jefferson will come in with three straight wins.

Kalida came up short against Patrick Henry on Saturday, falling 22-3.

Meanwhile, while Jefferson put up plenty of runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Van Wert. Jefferson blew past Van Wert 15-0. Considering the Wildcats have won three matchups by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Jefferson pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Kalida, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
