Basketball Game Preview: Camp Verde Cowboys vs. North Valley Christian Academy Lions

The Camp Verde Cowboys are taking a road trip to face off against the North Valley Christian Academy Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Camp Verde saw some tournament action last Saturday. They fell 38-30 to Scottsdale Preparatory Academy. The Cowboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wa'Siiva Lewis was Camp Verde's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Lewis also led the team in rebounds with nine. Lydia Bleak took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, North Valley Christian Academy beat St. John Paul II Catholic 26-21 on Tuesday.

Camp Verde's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for North Valley Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to an identical 5-8.
