There's no place like home for Symmes Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the East Tartans 47-0. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Vikings considering their six-point performance the game before.

Symmes Valley pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.6 points on average over those games. As for East, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coincidentally, Symmes Valley and East will both be playing Notre Dame the next time they take the field. The Vikings will host the Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Tartans will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
