Baseball Game Preview: Horicon Marshmen vs. Central Wisconsin Christian Crusaders

For the second straight game, Horicon will face off against Central Wisconsin Christian. The Marshmen are taking a road trip to challenge the Crusaders at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Horicon will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Horicon beat Central Wisconsin Christian 7-3.

Max LaBlanc was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI. That RBI was his first of the season. Barrett Meyer was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Horicon pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Central Wisconsin Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.
