It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but The Villages Charter had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 75-23 win over the Astronaut War Eagles. The Buffalo have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 24 points or more this season.

Leading The Villages Charter to victory were Adyn Corbin and Jomar Bernard. Corbin went 7-for-9 to rack up 19 points along with six rebounds and five assists, while Bernard went 6-for-10 en route to 19 points. The dominant performance gave Bernard a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Herly Brutus, who posted seven points and seven boards.

The victory was the seventh in a row for The Villages Charter, bringing their record for this year to 23-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 41.6 points. As for Astronaut, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-22.

Looking ahead, The Villages Charter will face off against Discovery at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Discovery knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 18 contests -- so hopefully The Villages Charter likes a good challenge. Astronaut does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
