Basketball Recap: Arroyo Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Arroyo lost against South El Monte back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Arroyo Knights fell 52-40 to the South El Monte Eagles.

South El Monte got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Nathan Oros out in front who went 6 for 10 on his way to 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Those four steals gave Oros a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tony Aguilar, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine boards.

Arroyo's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-11. As for South El Monte, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-15.

As of now, neither Arroyo nor South El Monte have any future games scheduled.
