Baseball Recap: Loyalton Takes a Loss

Loyalton came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 15-5 to the Biggs Wolverines. The Grizzlies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolverines earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

Loyalton saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Thor Corcoran, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits Corcoran has posted since back in April of 2024.

Loyalton now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Biggs, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Loyalton will challenge Quincy at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Quincy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season. As for Biggs, they will take on Hayfork at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
