Baseball Preview: Dayton Greendevils vs. Calvary Christian Cougars
Dayton hasn't had much luck against Calvary Christian recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. Dayton will square off against Calvary Christian at 8:00 p.m.
Dayton is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Monday. They lost 10-0 to Ludlow.
While Calvary Christian didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on Ludlow with a sharp 14-4 win on Tuesday. With that victory, the Cougars brought their scoring average up to 7.6 runs per game.
Josh Ruwe was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out ten batters over four innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off only two hits (and only one walk).
