Football Recap: Pattonville Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Pattonville's offense. They were outmatched by the Lafayette Lancers and fell 35-0. Having soared to a lofty 35 points in the game before, the Pirates' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Pattonville now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lafayette, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pattonville will take on Seckman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars' defense has only allowed 13.2 points per game this season, so the Pirates' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Lafayette, they will square off against McCluer at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
