Poteet has gone a perfect 4-0 against Spruce recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Pirates will look to defend their home field against the Timberwolves at 12:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.

Spruce will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Poteet extended their winning streak to three on Friday. The Pirates were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over West Mesquite.

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Spruce and Samuell, and Spruce kept the tradition alive. The Timberwolves were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Spartans on Friday. Considering the Timberwolves have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Johnathan Rodriguez, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Castillo, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Poteet's victory bumped their record up to 7-4-1. As for Spruce, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.

Everything went Poteet's way against Spruce in their previous meeting back in March of 2025, as Poteet made off with a 20-1 victory. Do the Pirates have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Timberwolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
