Baseball Recap: Amesbury Takes a Loss

Amesbury lost against Georgetown back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Redhawks fell 6-2 to the Royals.

Amesbury's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Georgetown, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Amesbury will face off against North Reading at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Redhawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Georgetown, they will welcome Ipswich at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
