Basketball Recap: Four Straight Home Wins for Rome Free Academy

Rome Free Academy had won three straight home games and Amiyah Ferebee did her part to make it four on Wednesday. The Rome Free Academy Black Knights walked away with a 50-39 win over the Christian Brothers Academy Brothers thanks in part to Ferebee, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. That's the most boards she has posted since back in February of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Taniyah Outten, who posted eight points along with six rebounds and five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played.

Rome Free Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points per game. As for Christian Brothers Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.
