Soccer Recap: Woodmont Comes Up Short

Woodmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Easley Green Wave. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Easley this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.

Woodmont's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Easley, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8-1.

Woodmont didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-0 loss against J.L. Mann on the 17th. As for Easley, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Greenville on the 17th.
