Basketball Game Preview: Wells Wells CSD vs. Indian Lake Central Indians

Wells is 6-0 against Indian Lake Central since December of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Wells Wells CSD will venture away from home to face off against the Indian Lake Central Indians at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Wells has four straight wins, Indian Lake Central has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Wells is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Johnsburg Central to the tune of 83-48 on Tuesday. The Wells CSD have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 24 points or more this season.

Chase Brooks was his usual excellent self, going 22 of 35 on his way to 52 points and three blocks. That's the most blocks he has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Passmore, who dropped a triple-double on 11 boards, 17 assists, and ten steals.

Meanwhile, Indian Lake Central played a tough match on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Wells, falling 80-46. The Indians were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-16.

Wells pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points per game. As for Indian Lake Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything came up roses for Wells against Indian Lake Central in their previous matchup on Saturday, as the squad secured an 80-46 win. In that game, Wells amassed a halftime lead of 36-16, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
