Softball Recap: Beaverton Takes a Loss

Beaverton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 13-7 to the Jesuit Crusaders. That's two games in a row now that the Beavers have lost by exactly six runs.

Gracie Burnett and Allium Berg did some serious damage despite the final result: Burnett went 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base, while Berg went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Halle Lafontaine was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Beaverton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Jesuit, their victory bumped their record up to 15-5.

Beaverton has already played their next contest, a 15-1 loss against Sunset on the 2nd. As for Jesuit, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-4 win against Aloha on the 2nd.
