Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Yellow Jackets are ranked 234th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Hayden made easy work of Center Point on Monday and carried off a 67-44 victory. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Hayden's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-6. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.9 points per game. As for Springville, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.
