Basketball Game Preview: Lyman Hall Trojans vs. Guilford Grizzlies

Lyman Hall and Guilford are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2016, but not for long. The Lyman Hall Trojans will head out to square off against the Guilford Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Lyman Hall is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since January 22nd on Monday. They had to suffer through a 71-32 loss at the hands of West Haven.

Guilford kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against Law, falling 65-44. The contest was a 32-32 toss-up at halftime, but the Grizzlies couldn't quite close it out.

Lyman Hall will have to contain Keira Reynolds as she made an impact in Guilford's last game. She dropped a triple-double on 14 points, ten boards, and ten steals. Reynolds is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 14 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emelia Votto, who posted eight points along with eight boards and seven steals.

Lyman Hall came up short against Guilford in their previous meeting back in February, falling 56-46. Can Lyman Hall avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
