Volleyball Recap: Sami Curnyn Key Part of Team Effort in Crusaders Win

Marian won the last time they faced Pius X and things went their way on Saturday too. The Crusaders walked away with a 2-0 win over the Thunderbolts. The victory was some much needed relief for the Crusaders as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Marian not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Pius X between 19 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-20.

Marian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Sami Curnyn out in front who had nine assists and four digs. That's the most assists Curnyn has posted over her last four matches.
