After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Norwalk, Perkins was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Clyde Fliers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Pirates have posted against the Fliers since September 1, 2022.

While Perkins won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-12, 25-23.

Perkins' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-7. As for Clyde, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Perkins is set to take on their familiar foe Columbian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Clyde will square off against rival Bellevue at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
