Soccer Game Preview: Philo vs. Harrison Central

The Philo Electrics will be taking part in a tournament against the Harrison Central Huskies at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Philo will be strutting in after a win while Harrison Central will be coming in after a defeat.

Philo will bounce into Wednesday's matchup after beating Sheridan, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Electrics beat the Generals by a goal, winning 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Philo.

Meanwhile, Harrison Central fell victim to East Liverpool and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Potters, falling 6-0. That's two games in a row now that Harrison Central have lost by exactly six goals.

Philo's victory bumped their record up to 10-5-2. As for Harrison Central, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-13.

Philo took their win against Harrison Central in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 11-0 score. Will the Electrics repeat their success, or do the Huskies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
