Pueblo County came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Pueblo Centennial Bulldogs a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Hornets have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Nick Hernandez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Fonzie Maes, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Pueblo County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .577. The last time their OBP was this high was back in May of 2024.

Pueblo County pushed their record up to 17-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Pueblo Centennial, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.
