Basketball Game Preview: Howe Bulldogs vs. S & S Consolidated Rams

The Howe Bulldogs will challenge the S & S Consolidated Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with nine consecutive losses for Howe and five for S & S Consolidated.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 69-23, which was the final score in Howe's tilt against Gunter on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1184th, while the Tigers are ranked 102nd).

Meanwhile, S & S Consolidated was beaten by Gunter 74-11 on Tuesday. The game marked the Rams' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

S & S Consolidated's defeat dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Howe, their loss dropped their record down to 3-23.

Howe came up short against S & S Consolidated in their previous meeting on January 7th, falling 67-62. Can Howe avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
