Soccer Recap: Marianna Victorious

Marianna kept a clean sheet against Franklin County on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Franklin County Seahawks by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in December of 2024.

Mabry Mitchell and Meghan Beebe scored both of Marianna's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Marianna's victory bumped their record up to 7-9-1. As for Franklin County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.

Marianna will square off against St. John Paul II at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Marianna is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season. As for Franklin County, they will face off against Munroe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
