Columbia had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They had just enough and edged out the Breese Central Cougars 4-3. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 13-1 victory back in April.

The win made it two in a row for Columbia and bumps their season record up to 22-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Breese Central, they moved to 10-20 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Columbia nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
