Volleyball Recap: Farmington Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Farmington can now relate to. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Davis Darts on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Darts this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat back in April.

Pearce Eliason paced Farmington's offense, picking up 11 kills. Eliason got some help from Tavin Fulton and his 11 assists. Finally, Justin Pugmire kept Farmington's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Farmington's loss dropped their record down to 21-9. As for Davis, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Farmington nor Davis have any future games scheduled.
