Softball Recap: Shenandoah Takes a Loss

Shenandoah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fort Frye Cadets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Zeps of the 14-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Shenandoah's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Fort Frye, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Shenandoah will challenge St. Clairsville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Shenandoah is facing St. Clairsville at the right time seeing as St. Clairsville is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Fort Frye, they will take on Barnesville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
