It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Belleville had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Union City Soaring Eagles an 11-0 shutout. Considering the Buccaneers have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Belleville has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Union City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-8.

As of now, neither Belleville nor the Soaring Eagles have any future games scheduled.
