Volleyball Recap: North Valleys Comes Up Short

North Valleys was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Reed Raiders, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 9th.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-17, 25-16.

Cathleen 'Kat' Molino was the offensive standout of the contest as she had ten digs and four aces. Molino is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. Devyn Christian also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

North Valleys' loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Reed, their record now sits at 14-10.

Coincidentally, North Valleys and Reed will both be playing Reno the next time they take the court. The Raiders will head out to face the Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th.
