Basketball Recap: Phoenix Takes a Loss

Phoenix was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Colon Magi, falling 52-20.

Phoenix's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Colon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Phoenix has already played their next contest (against Lakeview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Colon will take on Burr Oak at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Burr Oak's defense has only allowed 27.5 points per game this season, so Colon's offense will have their work cut out for them.
