Basketball Recap: Normandy Find Success

Normandy won against Northwest last Thursday with 58 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Normandy Vikings slipped by the Northwest Lions 58-57. While the Vikings didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Normandy pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Northwest, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Normandy will square off against Clayton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northwest, they will venture away from home to challenge Herculaneum at 8:30 p.m. on Monday. Northwest is facing Herculaneum at the right time seeing as Herculaneum is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
