Volleyball Recap: Sage Creek Picks Up Third Straight Win at Home

Sage Creek had won two straight home games and Brandon Jemison did his part to make it three on Wednesday. Sage Creek walked away with a 3-1 win over the San Marcos Knights with plenty of help from Jemison, who had 26 digs and two aces. That's the most aces he has posted over his last 14 matches.

The final score came out to 25-16, 23-25, 25-18, 25-23.

The victory got Sage Creek back to even at 13-13. As for San Marcos, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sage Creek will head out to square off against Westview at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Sage Creek is facing Westview at the right time seeing as Westview is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for San Marcos, they will face off against Rancho Bernardo at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. San Marcos will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: Rancho Bernardo will have lost four straight heading into Thursday's game.
