Softball Recap: Richton Takes a Loss

Richton lost against Sacred Heart last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rebels came up short against the Crusaders, falling 9-1.

Richton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayleigh Parker, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Richton's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Sacred Heart, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season.

The future could be bright for both Richton and Sacred Heart: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Rebels will look to extend Heidelberg's six-game losing streak when they meet at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sacred Heart will try to hand Forrest County Agricultural their 12th-straight defeat when the two meet at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
