Volleyball Recap: Concordia Takes a Loss

The Concordia Panthers didn't have quite enough to beat the Rossville Bulldogs on Saturday and fell 2-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Concordia sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-15, 21-25, 25-22.

Jaylin Roush paced Concordia's offense, picking up 13 kills. Roush got some help from Bridgett Blochlinger and her 20 assists.

Rossville was led to victory by Ady Henry and Brooke Springer. Henry had 12 digs and two aces, while Springer had nine digs and two assists. Those two assists gave Springer a new career-high.

Concordia's loss dropped their record down to 15-15. As for Rossville, they pushed their record up to 22-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Concordia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 0-0 tie against Sabetha on the 11th. As for Rossville, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Holton on the 11th.
