Timpanogos has gone 8-2 against Provo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Timberwolves will face off against the Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. Timpanogos is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.

Timpanogos is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Mountain Crest, who was ranked 21st at the time (Timpanogos was ranked 14th). The Timberwolves fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 6-5 on Tuesday. The Timberwolves' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Timpanogos saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Hawkes, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Another was Jackson Sotelo, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Provo's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of Mountain View by a score of 5-4.

David Fernandez was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 1-for-1. Davis Maughan also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Timpanogos' loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Provo, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 11-6.

Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Timpanogos has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .439. However, it's not like Provo struggles in that department as they've averaged .447. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Timpanogos beat Provo 5-2 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Timberwolves since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
