Football Recap: Sebastian Clark's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Hawkinsville over Wilcox County + How To Watch

Hawkinsville was the 19-15 winner over Wilcox County when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Devils took a 28-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots on Friday. While the Red Devils had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Patriots 7-0.

Hawkinsville's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sebastian Clark, who rushed for 60 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 82 yards and one TD. Martin Mcdonald helped out on the ground, rushing for 90 yards.

This is the second loss in a row for Hawkinsville and nudges their season record down to 4-2. As for Wilcox County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
