Football Game Preview: Whitehall-Yearling Rams vs. Franklin Heights Falcons

Two dominant s in Lawrence Kanneh and Anthony Jalloh are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Whitehall-Yearling Rams will head out to challenge the Franklin Heights Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Whitehall-Yearling's defense has only allowed 13.7 points per game this season, so Franklin Heights' offense will have their work cut out for them.

On Friday, Whitehall-Yearling earned a 20-10 victory over Bexley.

Whitehall-Yearling's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Jayson Stafford, who rushed for 76 yards and one score, and Malachi Jackson, who rushed for 38 yards and one TD. Nate Jenkins Jr. also deserves a mention for his punt return touchdown.

Meanwhile, Franklin Heights fell victim to Columbus Academy and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 14-0 bruising from the Vikings. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Falcons were not able to get on the board.

Whitehall-Yearling now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Franklin Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 4-3.
