Softball Recap: Silverado Comes Up Short

Silverado lost against Desert Oasis back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Silverado fell just short of Desert Oasis by a score of 6-5. The Skyhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jordyn Bunce made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Silverado's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Desert Oasis, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Silverado will challenge Coronado at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Silverado's pitchers better be ready for this one: Coronado has averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season. As for Desert Oasis, they will take on Legacy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
