Dulaney is 8-0 against Carver A&T since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Dulaney Lions take on the Carver A&T Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. Dulaney will be strutting in after a victory while Carver A&T will be coming in after a loss.

Dulaney is headed into the contest having just posted their biggest win since February 2, 2024 on Wednesday. They blew past Pikesville 61-31. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 59th, while the Panthers are ranked 209th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Carver A&T was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 72-48 to Patapsco. One positive for the Wildcats, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Carver A&T's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Dulaney, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.

Everything came up roses for Dulaney against Carver A&T when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 58-18 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dulaney since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
