Basketball Recap: Make It Seven in a Row for Marcellus

Marcellus waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 75-68 win over the Howardsville Christian Eagles. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Leading Marcellus to victory were Parker Adams and Jamarion Robinson. Adams dropped a double-double with 26 points and 12 rebounds, while Robinson dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten boards. With that strong performance, Adams is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game. Abram Coffey was another key player, putting up six points and six assists.

Marcellus was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Marcellus' victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-9. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.9 points over those games. As for Howardsville Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-16.

As of now, neither Marcellus nor Howardsville Christian have any future games scheduled.
