There's no place like home for Poly, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Arleta Mustangs on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Parrots as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Poly had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 14-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-15.

Poly's victory bumped their record up to 10-18. As for Arleta, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-4 record this season.

Poly will challenge Sylmar at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Arleta, they will face off against San Fernando at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
