Soccer Game Preview: Ridge Point vs. Fort Bend Bush

The Ridge Point Panthers will square off against the Fort Bend Bush Broncos at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams beat their previous opponents by a single goal, so this matchup might be just as contested.

If Fort Bend Bush heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Ridge Point took over last week. The Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Fort Bend Elkins on Friday. Ridge Point haven't had any issues with Fort Bend Elkins recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Fort Bend Bush, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They beat Fort Bend Hightower by a goal, winning 2-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Fort Bend Bush now has a winning record of 4-3-1. As for Ridge Point, their win bumped their record up to 5-2-1.
