Soccer Recap: Waltham Beats Bedford for Their Third Straight Win

Waltham kept a clean sheet against Bedford on Thursday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Buccaneers 1-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Waltham's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 40th, while Bedford are ranked 140th).

The win (which was Waltham's third in a row) raised their record to 8-3-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Bedford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9-5.

As of now, neither Waltham nor the Buccaneers have any future games scheduled.
