Softball Recap: Glacier Peak Comes Up Short

Arlington hit Glacier Peak with a four-run fourth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Grizzlies lost 9-0 to the Eagles. The Grizzlies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Glacier Peak has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Arlington, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season.

Glacier Peak will be playing at home against Shorecrest at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Grizzlies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Scots have averaged an impressive 10.8 runs per game this season. Arlington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
