Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Valley). They came out on top against the Eastern Eagles by a score of 54-41 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Valley's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Eastern, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valley will be taking part in a tournament against Watkins Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Eastern, they will venture away from home to take on Glenwood at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
