It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Carter can now relate to. They fell just short of the Palmdale Falcons by a score of 45-43 on Friday. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Carter lost, don't look at Jordan Mckinney. Despite the final result, he rushed for 200 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 42 receiving yards. Mckinney really tore up the turf during one magnificent 96-yard run. Joey Martinez was another key player, picking up 117 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Carter's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Palmdale, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Carter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Palmdale has also already played their next game, a 41-38 win against Selma on the 7th.
