Basketball Game Preview: Canal Winchester Indians vs. Logan Chieftains

The Canal Winchester Indians will face off against the Logan Chieftains at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, Canal Winchester didn't have quite enough to beat Teays Valley and fell 43-40.

Meanwhile, Logan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 52-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lancaster.

Canal Winchester's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Logan, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-16.

Canal Winchester was able to grind out a solid victory over Logan in their previous matchup back in January, winning 34-26. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Logan's Makenzie Daubenmire, who posted 13 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
